What You Won’t Say

Hello, I’ve returned.

The poem I picked for today, it’s a little darker than usual, but catharsis, you know?

Anyways, I hope you like it.

What you Won’t Say

Silence kills more than sound ever will.
It’s harsh, direct.
A natural born killer.
The bastard son of words hovering on lips.
That can’t seem to move,
Even to save someone.
Yet the sins of silence will not excuse
The pain sound can cause.
Words can inflict wounds
If said in the right order.
So, no matter what is done,
Whether you spit out the words
Or swallow them whole,
We’re all damned anyways.

Thanks for reading.  As always, I appreciate your support.

Until next time! ❤
